Patrick Jacobs super-realistic dioramas are appropriately viewed through portholes - like windows that peek into another world. They also lend themselves to the trompe l’oeil effect he creates. And even though they are mesmerizing and fantastical, it’s hard to believe they aren’t real…or at least photos.
